The sensors were easy to set up, a quick test showed they’ll sense the water quickly, and the freeze notice already helped me avoid a frozen pipe under my sink.

After a short learning curve, this is a very versatile set of products. I started small and at this time I have a dozen sensors and multiple speaker hubs. Works very well. My security posture has greatly improved.

Does what it's advertised to do. I'm becoming more and more impressed with the Yolink line of products.

The sensors have been life changing. I don’t have to get up in the middle of the night to check the greenhouses. The are also very user friendly to set up and monitor.

We had a major water incident in 2024. I have been looking for a system to help prevent a recurrence.

When I came upon YoLink I wanted to give it a try because it was so much less expensive than other systems.

I purchase a control valve and a variety of water sensors. The system was easy to set up and works very well. I does exactly what I want it to do in monitoring potential water leak sources and turning off the main water when it detects a leak.

I am very pleased so far.

I just hope this new one lasts longer than the first unit, that one only lasted about 6 months...

About one month ago, our sump pump system, particularly the pipe coming out from the sump pump, failed. A YoLink water sensor (without a float) and YoLink alarm went off at 1:28am and woke my family up as the water started coming out of the casing and on to the basement floor.

Due to the sensor and alarm going off immediately, we were able to run downstairs (literally) and limit the damage. After starting to demo the area, we found out we were able to air everything out rather than replacing it all (no sewage - just HVAC condensate water). The sensor and alarm litereally saved us thousands of dollars and many additional headaches because we would not have woken up until many hours later when even more water made its way out of the casing on into the neighboring finished rooms.

As soon as that issue was resolved, we decided to buy a YoLink water sensor with a float in it so that we could be notified before the water made it out of the casing rather than afterward like it did about a month ago.

Boy, are we happy we got the float sensor! Less than two weeks after installing the float sensor, it went off as it was supposed to.

The sensor and YoLink alarm it's connected to woke us up two nights/mornings ago at 4:33am as the pipe from the casing came apart...again! This time though, the water hadn't made it out of the casing and there was zero water damage anywhere. We were able to contain the issue without any water overflowing out of the casing and had a plumber out that day to fix the issue, this time hopefully once and for all.

YoLink's water sensors have literally saved us from spending thousands of dollars and having a ton of much bigger headaches. We strongly recommend them. We use YoLink products of various kinds throughout our home and plan on using them for a long time.
