The garage door sensor was received quickly. Sticking the sensor at the inside top of the garage door and binding it to my existing hub using the Yolink application was easy. I receive notifications when the door is opened and once an hour if it remains open. Also, I can check to see if the door is opened or closed in the Yolink application at any time. The sensor has stayed connected to the hub without issue and I expect the batteries to last around 3 years

Leak Sensors to Whole Property Automation

I'm probably up to about 30 YoLink devices on my property, and have had some in service for at least 3 years. I started with leak sensors, then motion sensors, then a water meter, then outdoor lighting control, and now door and gate automation. All this on the hubs that I started with.
It's hard to imagine anything easier to install and to operate using the app on my phone. The distance in which a strong signal is maintained is impressive; much better than other wifi devices that I use. The system has proven to be extensible as new YoLink products are released. The price-point of each new sensor/control won't break the bank either.
Recently, I've attempted some automation rules (turning on lights when the garage door opens). For some reason, it doesn't work every time (probably a self-inflicted logic issue), but when they do work they're pretty slick. If I ever figure that out, there's another star to give.
In general, I am very happy with the YoLink system. You can start small and expand as the inspiration strikes. Customer support (if you ever need it) is prompt and friendly.

Garage Door Sensors Do Their Job

I have two garages each with its own sensor. They work well but I don't know how long the batteries will last. I hope for at least a couple years.

Now, I wish YoLink made a real mailbox sensor. They have kludge solutions, none of which appeal to me.
