Working OK

Got it going with ha using matter. It's works ok but not ready to rely on it yet. Yolink told me to connect using json but that is out of my comfort level. In my situation I will need at least 4 and at 200 dollars they don't work quite easy enough yet. If they can Integrate better/easier with ha they will be worth the money.

Insane Price

AUD$463 ?!??! you have to be kidding me. I've been holding off buying YoLink as I want a non-cloud / local version. Seems like I'll continue waiting and looking elsewhere.

Works as advertised

Setup was a bit tricky but it's humming along with Matter integration now for both Google home and home assistant. I've still yet to try mqtt.

To high of a cost. and integration needed

I see the local API hub is finally here, but really pissed that it was promised to be added to the current hubs and its not. And the current price is unreasonable. There is no reason it should be over $100. Kept being promised I would not need to buy a new hub and yet I do. I have tons of devices I want to purchase, but I will continue to hold off until there is a reasonable price. (Needed for integration into Hubitat)

Also are they working on integrations with Hubitat as that was also promised, but find no info in that.

Me ans several hundred people are holding off on buy more or any yolink until we get local control via API into Hubitat (And a hub at a reasonable price, Heck the Hubitat C8 Pro is under $200, and non pro on sale can be had for $100)

Local control is a must. Price not a huge factor. Charge $500 if you need to, it's not like large installs won't already have thousands invested in devices.
