from 2004 reviewsI recently found one of my 10 outdoor motion sensors had fallen off its perch. It was the double sticky tape I had used to mount it. I had used this tape for all of the sensors as they are lightweight and none had dropped before but this one did twice. It still works and so do the other 9 which have been up for years. I think I may replaced the batteries in one or two of the older ones but mostly the batteries last for years (some of them for 4 or more years). Because I trust these I decided to buy a couple more as spares just in case or if I find a new application for them. They integrate well with home assistant and as such they can be used to trigger lights or cameras. I just wish there was a way to improve their mounting as they only swivel vertically. Being able to swivel them horizontally would be an improvement (my only criticism).
After old refrigerator died while we were on a trip, we didn't know it had failed until we returned and found a stinky mess. The sensor in the freezer has worked very well for 3 years, and now the sensors in the new refrigerator, freezer compartment and beverage cooler are in place and inform us at a glance that everything is working as it should.

This sensor works differently from an IR motion sensor, and each has situations where it performs better. This one excels in environments where sunlight can occasionally interfere with an IR sensor. Iām extremely pleased with its performance and range.

Seems to work, no smoke yet to test. They are much smaller than the ones I am replacing. Needed to modify the mounting plate so I wooden have to repaint.

Could not figure out why the ice maker stopped working,, freeze -3 F, ice maker need (-1, 0, +1 ) to work reliable, to some tweaking but found a freezer setting and it work in the above range and now it works all the time
Every new home should have one of these automatically installed on the main water valve and older homes should definitely have the homeowner install one. To install valve itself itās better to get a plumber.

I am slowly building out my smart home and YoLink has been an integral part of the process. I recently purchased their garage door sensor and controller kit and it's been amazing. Not only do I have control of my garage from anywhere, I also know if it's open or closed. This has saved me a couple of times when something interrupted the door while closing. Instead of leaving my garage open all day, I got a prompt notification and was able to check and close the door remotely.

My second valve robot purchase was a gift for my process wngineer son to install in his new house. He works with refinery and transmission control systems and was impressed with the ease of install, performance of the actuator, and the featuresbof the software. He especially likes the fact that the X3 is battery powered.
I purchased a Yo-link Water Depth Sensor that was not working correctly and I contacted Yo-link customer service, troubleshot the device with them and they had a replacement to me in about a week. I appreciate the fact that they stand by their product and are quick to correct any problems. I have many Yo-link devices and they work as advertised!
