FlexFob Button Features
Regarding YoLink features, each button has the following capabilities:
Short-press and long-press actions (two per button X four buttons = 8 actions)
Directly control a YoLink device like a relay or siren, a light switch, plug or lock (for example, unlock a smart deadbolt or turn off a light switch)
Send a notification (for example, send a text message to family members, or play a text-to-speech message on SpeakerHubs)

What is the wireless range of the FlexFob?
Do I need a hub if I am using the Alexa integration?
Yes. The Alexa integration operates via an internet connection, which is provided to the fob by a YoLink Hub or SpeakerHub. You also want to have a hub so that you can get low-battery alerts, and to perform firmware updates, etc.
Can the FlexFob be used outside?
Yes, the FlexFob is weather-resistant and can be used outdoors.
Are the batteries replaceable?
Yes, the fob uses two standard alkaline AAA batteries. The battery cover is accessible from the back of the fob. After removing the screw (with a small Phillips screwdriver) gently pry off the cover with a slotted screwdriver. Replace the two AA batteries, then snap the cover back on, and reinsert and tighten the screw.

Very helpful “warning” devices
Sensors are very sensitive- alert even with only a small amount of water on the top or underneath. Alarm sound is helpful, especially if you are not near your phone to see or hear text or app alerts.

Works very well, Power monitoring is great
I am very happy with these, I replaced all (24) of my TP Link plugs with the YoLink Smart Energy plugs. The TP link plugs didn't have power monitors, the newer ones did, but they were smaller and the plugs did not go in far enough and would easily fall out. The Yolink plugs did not have this problem, as well they have a very long range, easily several hundred feet.

There's a bit of a learning curve for getting it setup and found out after purchase that it's mutually exclusive between the local hub and my pro hub... which isn't ideal but I'm still really happy to have local API access to my devices without having to go through a cloud.

I bought the garage door sensor to solve a problem when I attempted to link a MyQ sensor through IFTTT to a 3rd party smart outlet. I got only intermittent results with the MyQ. They YoLink device linked (through D2D) to both a YoLink outlet and the 3rd party device through IFTTT perfectly. All is good!
