YoLink On/OffFob

I tried with both D2D and through the app, but this model, unlike the one with numbered buttons, cannot control smart water valves. That doesn’t make sense to me: valves can be open and closed, which makes them clearly water ON/OFF switches.

This is my second set of YoLink products for a vacation home. Products work flawlessly and very easy to set up on the app

Key fob works great! I monitor my 89 year old neighbor blood glucose from across the street. When I get an alert that he low at 3 am I try to call him. After 2 tries I call his wife’s phone in the other room. (It’s usually turned off) I then press the key fob that transmits directly to a YoLink receptacle with a 105 db siren an red flashing light. He wakes up drinks a shake and glucose goes to safe state. The hub is at my house.

Keep in mind this device is only useful as a D2D controller. You need to pair it with every device you want it to control. It does not work through your hub to kick off scenes or automations. It does Direct D2D ONLY. I'm not knocking it because it makes a super handy RELIABLE (ALWAYS WORKS) controller for devices you need to control even if your internet whacks out.

Using it to lock and unlock doors at the office. Works just like it says and was easy to setup and get working.
