The Valve Controller 2: features include an outdoor-rated controller with 2+ years between battery changes (batteries are included). New features for the Valve Controller 2 include multiple power options. Using the included AC-to-12VDC power adapter, plug this in for normal operation on AC power, with battery "back-up", or use the adapter, only, or do not use the adapter for standard battery-powered (only) operation. (For even longer battery life, check out the X3 Valve Controller)
With the EVO Valve Operator. The EVO Valve Operator is a "bolt-on" ball valve operator/manipulator with a new and innovative attachment system. Rather than a "push/pull" approach to moving the ball valve lever, the EVO replaces the handle of the ball valve, and attaches directly to the ball valve shaft. This significantly improves efficiency, and overcomes most issues (related to the valve condition) that the Bulldog Valve Operator might be challenged by. As the EVO and ball valve essentially become one mechanism, this eliminates most of the issues that push/pull mechanisms have, that require specific adjustments to achieve ideal leverage, etcetera, specifically with older, stiffer, and/or larger valves. Installation is simple, and takes 15 minutes or less using only a Phillips screwdriver.
The controller and EVO work in conjunction to provide smart wireless valve control, with YoLink's LoRa-based extreme long range wireless technology.

To enjoy all the features of your smart valve controller, it requires a connection to a YoLink hub (with an internet connection).
