Temperature & Humidity Sensor, Hub Required!

I have been using a YoLink hub and thermometer to monitor my fridge in Toronto and had such a good experience that I bought one for my winter home in Europe. After hours of research I could not find a similar product there. I was delighted to find out that the hub and thermometer would suit my needs. I had some difficulties setting it up but the customer service I received was unprecedented!!! It is now working like a charm.

I have installed these in the car parked on the street, attached to a brick wall in my garage that faces the alley, and in a plastic cap that I fitted to a bollard protecting a street-exposed corner of a building. All were installed to alert me to collisions that might have damaged the property. They work very well and their sensitivity can be adjusted to pickup minor bumps to hard collisions, to someone checking car doors at night. My bollard sensor has notified me to check my cameras and I saw hard collisions from a neighbor’s errant truck.

Alarm works great! Immediate notification on fail and restore. Easy setup, intuitive interface, total ease of operation.

I needed this device in the basement to surveil if the pump would malfunction risking the water to rise in the basement as happened many times before damaging the equipment. Problem - no wifi signal in basement. After having heard about Yo-Link in the ATP podcast I ordered a Hub and the leak sensor to try how it works, even though I am living in Denmark and did not know how it would work. I set the device up a week ago and it have already earned its praise. I received an alarm, when I was on my way home from work. The pump had a malfunction but I knew when I arrived at home and could solve it before any problem could happen. I give my highest recommendation :)

Been using yolink link temperature/humidity sensors for several years. They are one of the few real choices for freezers and midwest temperatures. I had never had a reason to contact support until recenly when i recieved a unit that did not display humidity correctly. I contacted support, they asked a few questions and shipped a replacement unit.

Put the sensor around house for extra security. Working good so far.

I was impressed with the overall quality of the hardware, and it was very easy to install. I would recommend it to anyone using YoLink to automate their home.

Connected the hub to my home router via Ethernet since that was simplest. Attached the sensor to my door without issue. Spent 10 minutes moving the finger around my old push button on the wall before mounting it.

Installed device software on my Pixel phone. Had an issue registering the finger but issue was resolved same day.

Everything works without issues. I get an email every time my garage door opens or closes. Exactly what I wanted.

I hope they create a widget so I don't have to dig into the app to see the garage door status, or to open/close the door.

Very happy with the cost and ease of use.

This is a pretty neat package all around. It’s small enough to fit into those touchy places under the sink and between piping. It responds quickly to water contact and also dries fast when you yank it out.
There are contacts at the bottom AND at the top, where a little indentation can collect drips… if you can predict where they’ll come from. Neat idea and sometimes useful.
Configuration through the app is unproblematic. Well, there’s not much to configure - most alerts and delays. The device works fine in local mode as well and response to water is virtually instantaneous.
