A smart handheld fob, for use with YoLink Dimmer Switches. Using Control-D2D device-to-device pairing, the DimmerFob can control an individual light switch, or two groups or zones of light switches.

What is the wireless range of the DimmerFob?
Is the DimmerFob waterproof?
The DimmerFob, like a car key fob, is water-resistant, not waterproof, and it should not be allowed to be submerged or allowed to get wet. Dry it off right away if it gets wet.
What is the battery life of the YoLink YS3606 DimmerFob?
The YoLink YS3606 Dimmer Fob is designed with LoRa long-range/low-power technology, which offers 5+ years of standby battery life.
Are the batteries replaceable?
Yes. The battery cover is accessible from the back of the fob. After removing the screw (with a small Phillips screwdriver) gently pry off the cover with a slotted screwdriver. Replace the two AA batteries, then snap the cover back on, and reinsert and tighten the screw.

Very handy tool that’s become indispensable
I have two of them monitoring two above ground water tanks. We have a community water system where we get filled up once a week, usually. No more trudging out to the tank, climbing up and guesstimating by looking through the hatch. We live in the desert and it’s super necessary to be aware of consumption to maintain a reserve if the fill-up is late. I love these devices!

Well depth sensor
The YoLink well depth sensor was recommended to me by a friend. I only had difficulty with linking to my home’s Wifi because it has multiple access points and two gateways but after all that the YoLink installation was a breeze. I am impressed with the distance that can be achieved between the hub and the sensor. Literature wasn’t clear on whether I would need a second hub for a second device but I went ahead and added a 3/4” YoLink meter and it also hooked up with the hub and they both transmit fine via a single hub. Good value too compared to the cost of commercial components. I retired from managing a water district.

Great device with ample flexibility for end user application.
HVAC customer was changing their home insurance and required a water leak detection system installed as part of the new home insurance requirements. Selected this one as it gave the most flexibility for how long the sensors would last, how to alert the homeowner, and appeared to be easy to set up. After some initial hiccups with wifi access to hub instructions, we were able to get the sensors, and an optional audible siren, all set up on the app so that the homeowner could be alerted of when leaks are detected and to satisfy the insurance company requirements. Will be using product again for other homeowners who are looking for similar features and adaptability to their system, or other, needs.
