  • Send a notification (for examples, send a text message, or play a text-to-speech message on SpeakerHubs)
  • Activate a scene (for example, lock multiple doors, turn on exterior floodlights)
  • Control an Alarm Strategy (for example, arm or disarm security devices)

Q:  Are the batteries replaceable?  A: Yes. The battery cover is accessible from the back of the fob. After removing the screw (with a small Phillips screwdriver) gently pry off the cover with a slotted screwdriver. Replace the two AA batteries, then snap the cover back on, and reinsert and tighten the screw.

Q: Is this weather-resistant, can it be used outside?  A: Yes, it is weather-resistant and it can be used outdoors.
