AlarmFob Introduction
The AlarmFob is a smart handheld fob, optimized for security/intrusion detection applications. Four programmable buttons, each with two available actions. Buttons are labeled for common actions like arm, disarm, sleep (scene activation), and panic/alarm.
AlarmFob Button Features
Regarding YoLink features, each button has the following capabilities:
Short-press and long-press actions (two per button X four buttons = 8 actions)
Directly control a YoLink device like a relay or siren, a light switch, plug or lock (for example, unlock a smart deadbolt or turn off a light switch)
Send a notification (for example, send a text message to family members, or play a text-to-speech message on SpeakerHubs)
Activate scene (for example, scene that locks doors and turns on porch light) or control Alarm Strategy (arm or disarm security devices)

What is the wireless range of the AlarmFob?
Is the AlarmFob compatible?
The AlarmFob does not support integration with Alexa but the FlexFob has Alexa compatibility, enabling you to make full use of its features and access button actions as devices within the Alexa app.
Are the batteries replaceable?
Yes, the fob uses two standard alkaline AAA batteries. The battery cover is accessible from the back of the fob. After removing the screw (with a small Phillips screwdriver) gently pry off the cover with a slotted screwdriver. Replace the two AA batteries, then snap the cover back on, and reinsert and tighten the screw.

I considered YoLink and also the moen flow algorithm system and ultimately opted for the sensors expecting a more reliable system. My plumber installed the valve and installed the base unit and 24 sensors in a 5 BR spread out house and it all communicates seamlessly and was relatively easy to set up after I took time to label and name each sensor before registering them in the app for my location. All is working well!

This smart plug is more than a power controller, but it monitors power usage in detail. Like a Kill-a-watt monitor, with a graphical minute by minute record of what power was used. When you open the device on the YoSmart App, you can see usage during the prior 24 hours, with each peak and valley. Then if you select a longer range analysis, you can see how much power was consumed each day, hour or month. This data can also be downloaded for analysis in excel or other software. I use this on a fridge that I use occasionally, so I can also turn it on and off when needed, and then I can see how much power the fridge is using. With other applications you can turn lights or heaters on and off on a schedule as desired, and then see how much power was used. I have an extra one just so I can check the power usage of different devices. If you like to keep track of power usage this is a great device!!

Outdoor Motion Sensor
Takes a licking and keeps on ticking
I recently found one of my 10 outdoor motion sensors had fallen off its perch. It was the double sticky tape I had used to mount it. I had used this tape for all of the sensors as they are lightweight and none had dropped before but this one did twice. It still works and so do the other 9 which have been up for years. I think I may replaced the batteries in one or two of the older ones but mostly the batteries last for years (some of them for 4 or more years). Because I trust these I decided to buy a couple more as spares just in case or if I find a new application for them. They integrate well with home assistant and as such they can be used to trigger lights or cameras. I just wish there was a way to improve their mounting as they only swivel vertically. Being able to swivel them horizontally would be an improvement (my only criticism).

After old refrigerator died while we were on a trip, we didn't know it had failed until we returned and found a stinky mess. The sensor in the freezer has worked very well for 3 years, and now the sensors in the new refrigerator, freezer compartment and beverage cooler are in place and inform us at a glance that everything is working as it should.

Excellent motion sensor
This sensor works differently from an IR motion sensor, and each has situations where it performs better. This one excels in environments where sunlight can occasionally interfere with an IR sensor. I’m extremely pleased with its performance and range.
In fact, I’ve been very impressed with all of my YoLink products. I currently have 40 YoLink devices, and my experience with them has been consistently positive.

New smoke detectors
Seems to work, no smoke yet to test. They are much smaller than the ones I am replacing. Needed to modify the mounting plate so I wooden have to repaint.
