For now, it is up and running without any problem non stop so it is perfect.
All capabilities are fonctional as expected.

Super easy to set up.

I stuck one of these in a rental property crawlspace and it was super easy to setup.

Better than the other hubs.

I like that the hub 3 provides battery backup. I don't plan to use the cellular feature, but it's an added bonus. Some downside I noticed nothing I believe is with the product itself, but the hub is not detected by home assistant. Also hope that matter is available soon for home assistant integration.

Does a YoLink Hub 3 require a subscription service?

There are no monthly subscription fees with using any of our hubs and YoLink devices through the app and all hubs are functional without subscriptions. If you would like to use cellular data with the Hub 3, the pricing for the YoLink Hub 3's cellular data plan is $6.99 monthly.

What is the difference between the YoLink Hub, Speakerhub, and YoLink Hub 3?

The YoLink Hub connects to the internet via Ethernet or WiFi (2.4 GHz Only). The Speakerhub can only connect via WiFi (2.4 GHz Only), not Ethernet, and has been equipped with additional speaker and audio features so it may audibly alert and inform you with tones, sounds, and clear text-to-speech-based spoken messages. The YoLink Hub 3 offers a 4G LTE Cellular Backup and All of the 3 hubs have YoLink's range of 1/4 mile and can connect to all YoLink devices, and are all compatible with Alexa, Google, IFTTT, and Home Assistant. If it is your first time deciding a hub, we recommend the YoLink Hub or Speakerhub, and if you would like an extra layer of protection for locations prone to power or network outrages (traveling, RV, boat, camping, etc.) we recommend the YoLink Hub 3

Can I use multiple YoLink hubs within the same network?

Yes, you can set up multiple hubs within the same network.

How many devices can the YoLink Hub 3 support?

There is no specific limit on the number of devices you can add to one hub. It is recommended customers consider adding another hub if they have over hundreds of devices.

Does the YoLink Hub 3 Support Local Integration or Matter?

The YoLink Hub 3 does not support local integration. The YoLink Hub 4 supports the Local API and Matter

No WiFi, No Internet, No Power - No Problem!

Thanks to our unique Control-D2D device-to-device pairing, you can easily create links between one device and up to 128 other devices. Once a pairing relationship is set, the devices will respond accordingly, even if the WiFi or internet is down and even if the power* is out! This is perfect for critical operations, such as water leak detection and automatic water shut-off.

*Battery-powered devices only or AC-powered devices on UPS or emergency power.
