Good replacement for older dumb keypad deadbolt. r

I purchased this as a replacement for an older Kwkst deadbolt lock with a keypad. The outdoor keypad on the older dumb lock had stopped working after many years of use. The installation of the new deadbolt was straightforward with good instructions. I like using the Yolink application on my phone to add/delete entrance codes, get notified when the door is unlocked using the keypad, remotely lock/unlock, and view an activity log. The Yolink application made it easy to assign unique codes for each person with access to my home so I can tell who has entered the house. I already monitor my home using numerousYolink sensors so going with a Yolink lock was a no-brainer. Based on my experience Yolink products work well, stay connected, have good battery life, and are reasonably priced.

Working temperature range to oC? Only?

I'm absolutely in love with all the Yolink devices and superb app. Works great, all the time. So I was really excited to see the new Yolink smart Lock M1, and for a reasonable price. However, the specs show that its lower operating range is only to 32F or 0 degrees celcius. Really? That's seems unacceptable for use in any of the more northern States or Canada (it colder than-23C in Ontario, every night for the past week!) For a product meant to be installed outdoors, in the North-American market, that's seems like a pretty serious limitation. Perhaps Yolink is being overly cautious, but unfortunately I won't risk buying this one!

Great Product

Limited functionality

Overall the lock was well made and easy to install. No issues with the mechanics or setup. However, I was looking for more functionality from the app, specific to the lock. The ability to set up guest access codes, etc. from the app. This lock only has a single code which must be set at the lock manually.

Great Lock

I bought this to replace another lock and this one was easier to install and worked better than the other one. I’ll be buying another one for other property.
