Great product line.

I+have+the+Yolink+system+protecting+my+home+from+water+damage+with+water+sensors+located+around+appliances%2C+under+sinks+and+a+pulsing+flow+meter+on+the+water+supply+pipe.+If+a+sensor+senses+water+on+the+floor+or+a+sustained+flow+of+water+is+measured+by+the+flow+meter+a+Yolink+electric+valve+will+close+the+water+supply+to+the+entire+home.+It+has+proven+itself+a+few+times+already.+We+had+several+automatic+timers+throughout+the+house+controlling+various+plant+lights.+Each+timer+was+separately+set.+Changing+time+on+them+twice+a+year+was+not+fun.+Every+timer+was+replaced+with+a+Yolink+mini+smart+plug.+Setting+the+on-off+times+for+the+plant+lights+can+now+be+done+while+sitting+comfortably+it+my+chair.+As+a+bonus+we+got+a+discount+on+our+homeowners+insurance.+Tech+support+has+been+great.+People+who+have+seen+my+set-up+have+asked+where+to+get+this+system.+Yolink.+

Exactly What I Needed

I use YoLink to control my two garage door openers (a garage door controller and a sensor for each door) but I wanted a way to know visually in my bedroom if any of the garage doors were open. I plugged an LED night light into the Mini Smart Plug and wrote 4 automation scripts so that if either door was open the light would be turned on and if both doors were closed the light would be turned off. I have a very old Chamberlain device that monitors the doors but it is very unreliable and the range is terrible. Using YoLink and the Mini Smart Plug works great and I know I can count on it being reliable. The scripting capability of YoLink is fantastic.
