Garage Door Controller 1, YoLink Hub Required

This controller is an excellent product. Works perfectly within the YoLink app. Allows me to see if the door is closed or open, and the ability to open and close the garage door from the app. My only caveat is that the supplied USB power cord should have a bit more length. It can be lengthened by splicing additional wire, but doing so adds complexity, additional points for failure, and makes the installation messier.

This Dry contact door opener is a the best. I have used for a trigger to open my gates at my property. Works excellent with Liftmaster 8900 LJ jack shaft door operators. I used the lift masters operators as gate openers. Easy to install and program. Heck it was the "No Brainer” Love the product.

The YoLink Smart Relay works well. But it is not possible to use it with most of the existing controls equipment now installed. That's because it needs to operate as an enable/disable device - rather than a direct control device. Without a N.C. contact I'm now forced to install an additional remote relay that does have N.C. contacts. The YoLink relay then closes it's contacts on command to energize the N.C. relay to break the circuit. It's not an exaggeration to say that not having a N.C. contact measurably increases field installation cost and reduces the value of the Smart Relay.

Looking forward to the local api , but other than that these are great, reliable devices.
