Add water leak detection, to create your own YoLink Smart Water Leak Protection System! This product is available in additional starter kits.

Excellent product

Our block of units has been plagued with water leaks for a few years now and this system will hopefully detect leaks before they become floods. We are on our third rebuild after leaks both from our own unit and those above. I showed the system to other owners and they decided we would all fit them to our units given the history and costs of repairs. Insurance may even reduce if we present our case. Highly recommended.

No Customer Support Response

One of my YoLink devices would not function. I changed the battery & still no good. Per the manual, I was to contact support. I sent 2 different emails (inifial & follow-up), but got no response whatsoever about replacing the one bad sensor. They want my reviews, but won't support their product. All I want is a replacement for my bad sensor. If they would do that, I would give 5-stars. Without it, they only get 1-star from me.

Bulldog valve with Controller 2 from your website. Order# 16365.

I just purchased the Bulldog valve with Controller 2 from your website.
Order# 16365.

I can not figure out how to connect the wires from the Bulldog to the controller.
All wires have male ends only, no female.
Am I missing something? Was I sent the wrong parts?

GREAT PRODUCT!

I have wanted to install a leak detection system for years that would alert me when I'm away from home. I was a bit skeptical but this system REALLY WORKS and is easy to install. I have 23 locations in my home protected with sensors and it works perfectly. We have got into the habit of turning off the water supply when we're away on vacation and the Bulldog Valve makes that easy to do now. I even installed three leak detectors in the air handler drip pans on my HVAC system to get a early warning if the drain gets plugged. I highly recommend this product.

The Valve Controller 2: features include an outdoor-rated controller with 2+ years between battery changes (batteries are included). New features for the Valve Controller 2 include multiple power options. Using the included AC-to-12VDC power adapter, plug this in for normal operation on AC power, with battery "back-up", or use the adapter, only, or do not use the adapter for standard battery-powered (only) operation. (For even longer battery life, check out the X3 Valve Controller)

With the Bulldog Valve Robot valve operator/manipulator. The Bulldog Valve Robot is a "bolt-on" ball valve operator/manipulator. It is attached to an existing ball valve, and the motorized arm moves the valve handle open or shut, as required. Installation is simple, and takes 15 minutes or less using only a Phillips screwdriver. 

The controller and Bulldog work in conjunction to provide smart wireless valve control, with YoLink's LoRa-based extreme long range wireless technology. 

  • Simple Do-It-Yourself, no-plumber-required, installation. The Bulldog installs in about 15 minutes, with just a Phillips screwdriver. (The valve controller installation requires additional tools and hardware for wall-mounted installation)
  • Wireless operation; no 120V outlet or additional wiring required
  • LoRa long-range/low-power technology offers 2+ years battery life, compared to 1+ year for other brands
  • Alexa, Google, voice assistant, Home Assistant and IFTTT integration
  • YoLink Control D2D device-to-device pairing allows for the Smart Motorized Valve to be directly controlled by YoLink water sensors or other devices, without an internet connection, and without power ("No WiFi, No Internet, No Power - No Problem!")
  • S.D.I.M - Smart Device Integrity Monitoring means your smart device is supervised 24/7 for communication and device health. Should your device fail to communicate or have a device health issue, you can be notified (per your alarm strategy settings). Each device has a unique identification number and it is individually monitored by the YoLink cloud server, 24/7, continuously
  • YoLink’s industry-leading long range communication (up to 1/4 mile, open air!) allows for operation in larger homes and in areas difficult for other wireless systems, such as basements, separate garages/structures, and even outside your home
Add smart control, including remote manual control, schedule control, and automation based on interaction with other smart devices (such as YoLink smart water leak sensors). Additionally, the valve can be controlled by third-party applications like IFTTT, Home Assistant, Google and Alexa (including voice commands, like "Alexa, turn off the water")

Avoid the expense, inconvenience and mess associated with the installation of non-wireless valve controllers.

Enjoy functionality even during a power outage. Control-D2D paired devices will perform their paired function automatically, without an internet connection, without the app, and without AC power (in the case of battery-powered or battery-backed-up devices - an internet connection is required for full functionality and for the app to work.)

To enjoy all the features of your smart valve controller, it requires a connection to a YoLink hub (with an internet connection). While you can utilize the valve controller in a "standalone" mode, and use Control-D2D (device-to-device pairing) to pair your valve controller directly to water leak sensors and/or to a YoLink fob, these are intended to be "back-up" or supplemental configurations. 

The app will not function without a hub, and without a hub, the valve controller can not report or inform you of device health issues, such as low batteries.
