Can I monitor the power consumption for the YoLink Energy Plug?

Yes, the YoLink Smart Plug is equipped with energy monitoring features that provide daily, weekly, and monthly graphs to help you track your power consumption. These insights can help you better understand and manage your home's energy usage.

Is the YoLink Energy Plug compatible with voice assistants like Alexa and Google Assistant?

Yes, the plug works with both Alexa and Google Assistant, allowing you to use voice commands to control it.

What is the difference between the YoLink Energy Plug and the Plug Mini?

The primary difference between the YoLink Energy Plug and the Plug Mini is that the Energy Plug features energy monitoring capabilities, allowing you to track and analyze your power consumption. The Plug Mini, on the other hand, does not have this function. Additionally, the maximum output for the YoLink Energy Plug is 12.5A, while the maximum output for the YoLink Plug Mini is 10A.

What level of precision does the YoLink Energy Plug (YS6602) offer? Are there specific tolerances for how accurately it measures the power usage?

For YS6602, the tolerance is within plus or minus 5 percent when the electricity usage of the device exceeds 1W. As for model 6803, the tolerance is within plus or minus 5 percent when the electricity usage of the device exceeds 0.1W.

Does the programming work when the internet is down?

If the internet is disconnected, remote control of the YoLink Energy Plug through the app will not work. However, schedules and timers saved in the device itself will continue to function. YoLink Control, which allows you to use the YoLink Remote to turn the Smart Energy Plug on or off, can also operate without an internet connection.

Does automation for a YoLink Smart Plug operate from the cloud or within the plug itself? For instance, if I want to remotely reboot my PC or router using a Smart Plug.

Please note that any automation set up through the app is stored on our cloud server. However, if there's a network outage, these automations won't work as intended. Therefore, you won't be able to use the smart plug to reboot or power cycle the router or YoLink hub.

I am using a smart plug in my garage, which is connected to a central vacuum. After 30 to 40 minutes, the plug was unable to deliver power to the central vacuum, although the switch functioned properly by turning on and off. Any idea what might be causing this issue?

The maximum output of a smart plug is typically 100-125V DC and 12.5A (resistive load). For safety reasons and to protect the equipment, the smart plug will automatically cut off output if the connected device's load exceeds its maximum output capacity. When the plug is reconnected to a device with a load below the maximum output, it should function correctly. It's possible that your central vacuum system exceeds the smart plug's capacity, causing it to shut off power after some time. Please note to check the specifications of both the smart plug and the connected device to ensure compatibility and avoid potential issues.
