Garage Door Sensors Do Their Job

I have two garages each with its own sensor. They work well but I don't know how long the batteries will last. I hope for at least a couple years.

Now, I wish YoLink made a real mailbox sensor. They have kludge solutions, none of which appeal to me.

The Garage Door Sensor works very well.

The sensor is small, but it does the job very well. Simply attach to the door. Then, paired with a Garage Door Controller (the Garage Door Controller didn't work for me, so I purchased the YoLink Finger, which works well) and I now have full remote control of my garage door, with the ability, through automation to automatically shut it after a configurable time of of how long it has been opened. It's also nice that you can see the current status, and be notified when the status changes (primarily up for me) of the Garage Door with just the sensor (or with the sensor/controller pair) so there is no doubt whether the door is open or closed. I am happy with my purchase.
