Description

The remote probe can detect water at the probe tip or with a compatible sensor cable along the cable length. Select leak or water-level mode to match the installation.

Smart water detector with a built-in siren, detects the presence or absence of water and displays the status on the YoLink app.

Two Modes: Water Leak Detection Mode and Water Level Detection Mode.

Near swimming pool pumps/equipment*.

Remote alerts require the hub and internet connection to stay online. A sensor with a built-in sounder can still sound on working batteries.

I had an entire house with Moen water detectors. They were constantly disconnecting from the Wi-Fi network. Changing the battery resulted in loss of Wi-Fi connection. Moen device connection to Wi-Fi was problematic and often wouldn’t connect.
YoLink Hub connected very quickly to my Eeero router which broadcasts both 2.4 and 5.0 GHz. I did not need to turn off the 5.0 GHz to make the Hub connect. Connecting the individual devices took no more than 10 seconds per device. An extremely user-friendly system. They’re quite sensitive. After mopping the floor the device alarmed….. So even minor moisture will trigger.

Great while it lasted

My unit with the string sensor seems to have failed in the alarm-on position. Despite being dry. Had to remove batteries to stop the noise.

I have installed 10 of these around the house and the crawl space. I have not had a leak yet, but every time I have tested each cord attached to a water leak sensor 2 before placing it, it gave me a warning each time. Also, I like how the Yolink app gives us a picture showing the remaining battery life. Also, for areas where you want the sensor 2 above any water (they are not waterproof), the brackets Yolink sells, and the cords look good along the floorboards.

The leak sensor description was not what I expected. 2 emails and everything was corrected. The company acted prifessionaly and quickly to resolve the issue. Truly outstanding experience.

Just works within minutes

I needed this device in the basement to surveil if the pump would malfunction risking the water to rise in the basement as happened many times before damaging the equipment. Problem - no wifi signal in basement. After having heard about Yo-Link in the ATP podcast I ordered a Hub and the leak sensor to try how it works, even though I am living in Denmark and did not know how it would work. I set the device up a week ago and it have already earned its praise. I received an alarm, when I was on my way home from work. The pump had a malfunction but I knew when I arrived at home and could solve it before any problem could happen. I give my highest recommendation :)
