YoLink Smart Lever Lock with Fingerprint

This lock is good but I have 1 problem with it. You can't lock it from the inside! Who builds a door knob that you can't lock from the inside? I'm not a big fan of the touchpad either. I liked the physical push buttons that were on the previous deadbolt.

I love my YoLink products. The lock and its features are great however, the lock is SO BIG that I had to remove my dead bolt to be able to install the handle lock. Now I have a hole in the door that the handle lock coveres about a half in of. What to do? May be sending it back.

REALLY wanted to like it, was super excited when they released it. However, it is horrible. Quit working after 1 week. Even while working it is pretty much worthless, as there is no way to turn off the autolock feature, so it will always automatically lock. You cannot manually leave it unlocked for more than three minutes.

I am really happy with this lock. The options for opening are numerous, it seems solid, it is easy to install.

On the other hand, it is a product that has just been released and it causes me some issues. The first lock I had had a problem, the batteries became hot, it even made smoke. I burned myself taking it off! But, Yolink's customer service was excellent and replaced the lock very quickly.

The software also seems a little buggy at the moment. I lost all the users of the lock in the application but the accesses still worked. I could no longer manage accesses in the application, but they still worked. I had reset the lock to factory settings and do everything again to resolve the situation. I have three locks, it's not possible to have a common users list for each of them. That would be great!

The doorbell function is cool, but it does not work with IFTTT and HomeAssitant yet.

In short, it's a brand new product, already very good, but which could become even better with software developments.

As with my other YoLink purchases, I've been overall quite happy with the smart lock so far. The build quality is high and its got lots of features for the price. I love the variety of entry options available, especially the fingerprint sensor.

Less positive things - the installation instructions could have been better, as there were a few unclear parts where I just ended up having to figure it out on my own. Which wasn't too hard but it did make the process take longer than it should have. The other minor issue I have is that it seems the auto relock feature cannot be disabled at all and has a time range of only up to 3 minutes. Could get annoying if I'm bringing in multiple loads of things, etc, although admittedly it hasn't been an issue so far.

Hoping it continues to work well for years to come!
