YoLink nailed it with this one. It's installed on our dining room LED table lights and its basically flawless - both as a local wall switch/dimmer and via scenes through the YoLink hub. No issues.

Keep in mind this device is only useful as a D2D controller. You need to pair it with every device you want it to control. It does not work through your hub to kick off scenes or automations. It does Direct D2D ONLY. I'm not knocking it because it makes a super handy RELIABLE (ALWAYS WORKS) controller for devices you need to control even if your internet whacks out.

I have a total of 6 of these around my house. They have correctly detected oozing connections at my refrigerator, dishwasher and clothes washer, while not falsing once over the past several years. I also use a YoLink motion sensor to let me know when my mailbox opens. It's a couple hundred yards from the hub. Haven't had to replace a battery yet. Customer service has been exceptional on the rare occasion when there was a problem, usually caused by me. I unreservedly recommend them to anyone seeking a remote control solution that is reliable, inexpensive and requires minimal interaction. Two thumbs way up!

The Yolink detector really fit my desire to have a smoke, heat, & CO2 detector in one package. Normally you can find a smoke detector with CO2 but not also with the heat detection. So it saved me from having to but two detectors. It intergarted well with my Yoplink app and I get immediate calls on my cell phone when they are detecting any of the three issues plus the audible alarm.

I have the Valve Controller 2 7 leak detectors in my house and my friend asked me to to the same for him. Just 3 days after I installed it for him, an upstairs toilet started leaking and triggered the valve to turn off saving my friend a lot of money & aggravation. Needless to say, he's thrilled with it!

The FlexFob is a useful addition to your YoLink system. But, I wish the YoLink folks would expand their 'handheld remote' offering - As a true fob, the FlexFob is really a bit large to be carried around with keys, which is what I envision when I see the word 'fob'. IOW, too big for a pocket.

As much as I like AAA cells, they're too large for a product in the 'fob' category. IF there really is a need for a pocketable 'fob' device, it ought to be powered from a 'coin' cell, as much as I dislike these types of batteries.

But I really wish there was a device designed to live on a table top, dresser, nightstand, etc. The existing FlexFob fails in this application because it has a rounded back, and isn't very stable when set on a surface, being designed for handheld usage. Same goes for the old YS3603 - it was really designed for handheld use - its buttons are too small for a 'tabletop' application.

Getting even fussier... I prefer hard surface buttons (like the pairing button on the YoLink plugs) over mushy rubber/silicone buttons.

So, if a 'fob' needs to esist, make it smaller and coin-cell powered. Put hardbuttons on it. Then take the old YS3603 product - keep the 2xAAA cells but give it a design intended for stationary (rather than handheld) use. Maybe drop a few buttons, but make them bigger, Add hub-based features (which it now lacks) but don't ever do away with the D2D ability present in all YoLink products. Also, consider the possibility that this re-designed YS3603 device might be able to be fited with a Decora faceplate for wall-mounted applications.

All that said, I love the YoLink products - their RF and battery performance is best in class - nothing comes close

The sensor records the temperature and humidity change in my house and it is sensitive. I can see the cycles of the temperature changes by the triggering of the heater, indicating that it senses the environmental change well.
