YoLink X3 Valve Controller Kit with Bulldog Valve Robot

I do a lot of home automation, including leak sensors in almost all places a leak is likely. However, I was always worried about leaks happening when we weren't at home.

Enter the YoLink X3 valve controller and the Bulldog valve robot. The X3 is the 'brains' of the solution, and I linked it to my YoLink local hub (which is already connected to my Home Assistant environment), bolted the Bulldog onto my main water valve (no plumbing necessary), connected the Bulldog to the X3 and, voila, I now have automated control of my main water shutoff valve.

I created some automations in Home Assistant that detect when any of the leak sensors are wet and, if they aren't cleared within three minutes, the Bulldog valve robot is triggered to turn off the water to our house.

So far all of your YoLink devices have been rock solid and the LoRa connectivity ranges all over acreage. The Local Hub is also fantastic, removing 'the cloud' from our home automation and allowing it to work even during an internet outage.

Only been a few days installed but everything is working well and meeting expectations. I was the test bunny, will be ordering more for our entire condo association.

My second valve robot purchase was a gift for my process wngineer son to install in his new house. He works with refinery and transmission control systems and was impressed with the ease of install, performance of the actuator, and the featuresbof the software. He especially likes the fact that the X3 is battery powered.

I had one water leak and never wanted to have another. The YoLink Bulldog valve was the perfect solution in avoiding another leak. Fairly simple to install and great customer support for answering questions and providing guidance.

I contacted support about the App leak sensor "D2D Control Management" showing Yolink Master Valve (Invalid Pairing) error. Nobody seens to have an answer. As far as I can tell, everything seems to be working.
