Earlier guidance stated that the Wi-Fi MAC address for a YoLink Hub is D88B4C plus the last six digits of the hub EUI. It listed Ethernet MAC addresses as D88B4CFF or D88B4CFE (depending on hardware) plus the last four digits of the EUI. It directed users to the Hub Details screen in the YoLink app to view the EUI.
Earlier guidance listed these hostnames and ports for firewall rules: us.yosmart.com (443), api.yosmart.com (443), and mq-yl-appt.yosmart.com (TCP 8001–8002).

- Hub offline alerts: earlier guidance directed users to check notification settings and said an offline notification may take up to 30 minutes after setup changes. It linked the Hub Offline Notifications video above.
- Custom messages: earlier guidance said its test/broadcast screen does not save a message; it directed users to create one in an Automation or Scene.
