Introducing, the new FlowSmart Control - integrated water meter sensor and valve controller, provided as a kit, with a pulse-counter type water meter and motorized valve. (A hub is required for full functionality)
The YoLink FlowSmart Control meter & valve controller is a smart wireless integrated combination water meter sensor and motorized valve controller. This kit includes the meter & valve controller, an inline water meter with pulse-counter output, and a motorized valve. Both the meter and valve are made of ANSI/NSF/CAN 61-certified stainless steel.
The meter & valve controller has YoLink's standard LoRa-based wireless technology, that offers extreme long range wireless (up to 2,034 ft (620 m) open-air) and extreme long battery life (some products offer 10+ years between battery changes). The FlowSmart Control meter & valve controller is rated for 2 years of battery life in standby (four AA batteries included and preinstalled). Actual battery life depends on use and conditions.
The meter & valve controller offers multiple power options. Using the included AC-to-12VDC power adapter, plug this in for normal operation on AC power, with battery "back-up", or us the adapter, only, or do not use the adapter for standard battery-powered (only) operation.

Installation & user guideEnglish · PDF · Opens in a new tab↗Of all the leak detection systems I’ve looked at, and I looked at several. This is by far the best! It works well and is reliable. I had an issue with the valve but it was handled well by their support staff.
The hardware install was straight forward albeit I was surprised that the meter needed a horizontal install. The meter looked/felt substantial. The link to the YoLink controler was easy as I've come to expect from YoLink. The software looks interesting (just installed yesterday). I wish there was more written material describing the software but, I'm sure I'll figure it out. So far I'm very pleased with this devise and its functionality.
