Button Features

Compatible with Control-D2D
The fob is compatible with YoLink Control-D2D device-to-device pairing; can directly control compatible YoLink devices, like a YoLink Relay or Smart Plug. The Control-D2D device-to-device pairing feature of the OnOffFob makes it ideal for "offline" or "standalone" applications, where there is no internet connection and/or no YoLink Hub or SpeakerHub (to provide an internet connection for your YoLink devices), as well as for applications where an app is not required or desired, such as for simple applications like the control of a relay or gate operator. For more advanced applications, consider the FlexFob, which can perform the functions of the OnOffFob, and more.
Please note: the OnOffFob can operate without an internet connection and without a YoLink hub, making it ideal for standalone (for example, one siren and one OnOffFob) applications. But, the app will not function for the OnOffFob in these cases, and no low battery level notifications will be sent, the device health (signal level, etc.) can not be checked, and firmware updates (product enhancements, etc.) can not be performed without a connection to YoLink hub and YoLink app account.
Control-D2D Applications
Use the Control-D2D device-to-device pairing feature to pair your fob to one or more controllable devices. Then, you can directly control your device, turning it on or off (activating/deactivating it, unlocking/locking etc.) at any time

Fairly easy set up
Set up is pretty great in terms of ease & quickness. It was confusing to figure out how to get sensors to actually talk to the siren alarm but the agent - Genevieve - was very helpful in walking me thru those 14 steps. Maybe I missed it but it would great to have a visual guide that gives easy instructions on that part.

YoLink Water Sensors - buy these
I have purchased a couple dozen YoLink Water Sensor 2 and Water Sensor 4 units. They all connected to the hub and app immediately, first time, with zero issues. They all work perfectly and they easily connected to a YoLink automated water valve with device-to-device (D2D) pairing. This allows a leak detector to shut off the main water valve with no internet and no hub connection. I've had zero false alarms from the couple dozen sensors I have deployed across 2 homes. I absolutely will buy more YoLink products.
