Description

Insert the sensor cable before sliding the sensor into the wall bracket. The bracket helps restrain the cable but is not vandal-proof or tamper-resistant.

The bracket secures the sensor to the wall, and the bracket also provides some physical protection against the cord being removed.

The bracket is intended to be secured to a wall or surface, with appropriate screws (not included). Insert the cable into the sensor before inserting the sensor into the bracket.

The bracket is listed for YS7904-series water sensors and YS8004/YS8005 weatherproof temperature sensors. Insert the cable before placing the sensor in the bracket.

Brackets look good

We installed brackets where the only wall space available to hang a water sensor type 2 was in view. I placed the brackets (and the sensor type 2 cords) along our baseboards, and it looks "finished" and reasonably attractive. The water sensor type 2 fit nicely in the bracket, helping to get the "finished" look.

Rugged, yes. But.

Just as its name implies, this is a sturdily build bracket for the thermometer. However, once it is in, it is bugger to get out. In a remote mount site without aboth hands access, not sure it would be something you could easily, or eve, retrieve the device from. Needs to rework of a release lever or something.
