A: To enable this feature, please follow these steps:

1. Open the YoLink app and go to Menu > Settings > Account > Advanced Settings. Turn on "Control of security devices" option.

2.Next, go to Smart > Automation and create a new automation. Choose "When device action" and select "Smart Lock" > "Unlock".

3.Then, add a delay behavior of 1 minute by selecting "Delay" option and set the duration to 1 minute.

4.Finally, add a behavior to lock the smart lock by selecting "Device Action" and choosing "Smart Lock" > "Lock".

By setting up this automation, the YoLink Smart Lock M1 will automatically lock 1 minute after being unlocked by the keypad.


Q: I would like to set up a geofence routine for Alexa to automatically unlock the YoLink Smart Lock M1 when I return home. How can I do this?

A: Please follow these steps to set up the geofence routine:

1. Open the YoLink app and go to Menu > Settings > Account > Advanced Settings. Turn on "Control of security devices" option.

2. Next, go to Smart > Scene and create a new scene to unlock the door. Add behavior by selecting "Smart Lock" > "Unlock".

3. Then, open the Alexa app and discover the new scene.

4. Create a routine in the Alexa app by selecting "When this happens" > "Location" > "Arrives home". Then select "Add action" and choose "Smart Home" > "Control Scene". Add the unlock scene that you created in step 2.

By setting up this geofence routine, the YoLink Smart Lock M1 will automatically unlock when you arrive home, making your entry into your home more convenient.


Q: Are other smart locks compatible with the YoLink Hub?

A: No, other smart locks are not compatible with the YoLink Hub. The YoLink Hub only works with YoLink devices that use YoLink's private LoRa protocol.


Q: The manual open or close of the YoLink Smart Lock M1 does not update on the app. Is there a solution to this issue?
